How does inevitable change foster vulnerability? As change approaches, I realize the moments I share with people I love mean more than I would like to admit. I find myself reflecting on the house my father & I shared after his divorce, my mom taking care of me when I'm sick, & the ability to spend time with my grandma when I come home from school. Through analog photography, I capture my gratitude in brief moments, utilizing a practice taken for granted by showing more time & care toward the subject. I demand the viewer’s attention & interaction with the work by slowing down the creation of a photo.
